Day 2: Zurich – metropolis with Alpine panorama
CURIOUS CITY STORIES AND A INDULGENT CHOCOLATE EXPERIENCE
THROUGH ZURICH'S STREETS, SHORES & SWEETS
With its excellent infrastructure, universities and exceptionally high quality of life, this small cosmopolitan city on the water is considered one of the most liveable cities in the world. But behind its modern façade lies a place full of stories, myths and great personalities.
On a private city tour, we will let you experience the magic of the city where Huldrych Zwingli, Vladimir Lenin and Albert Einstein once lived. You will immerse yourself in history, hear unusual anecdotes and learn about customs and traditions that shape the character of the people.
Chocolate is as much a part of Switzerland as watches, banks and the Matterhorn. Take the ferry across Lake Zurich to Kilchberg and visit the Lindt Home of Chocolate. In Switzerland's largest chocolate museum, you will learn many interesting facts about the origins of chocolate, from the cocoa bean to the finished product. The highlight is a chocolate tasting, where you can enjoy selected chocolate creations with all your senses.
In late afternoon, we will travel by train to Lucerne, where you can either enjoy a free evening in the city or an exclusive dinner at the hotel, accompanied by fine Swiss wines.
