We are two Swiss friends who deeply love our country – not only for its beauty, but for its stories, culture and quiet traditions. For British guests with a genuine interest in history, nature and ways of life, we have created a very special journey.

This is not a conventional tour of Switzerland. We do not see ourselves as a travel agency, but as hosts for discerning, curious people who seek more than sightseeing and a nice journey through Switzerland by train. Our journey follows the footsteps of remarkable British personalities who found inspiration, refuge or clarity in Switzerland. Their stories gently connect landscapes, places and ideas.

The programme reveals the great variety of our small country: alpine grandeur and hidden valleys, elegant cities and secluded corners, tradition and modern life. The pace is unhurried, leaving space for conversation, reflection and enjoyment.

This journey is for people who are open to new experiences and wish not merely to visit Switzerland, but to understand it. We would be delighted to welcome you as our guests.

I live between Stone in Staffordshire and Zurich, with one foot in Britain and the other in my Swiss homeland. As a former business consultant and passionate Swiss, I would like to share “my” Switzerland with you – not as a typical tour guide, but as your personal host.

With me, you explore beautiful landscapes, historic towns and living traditions, while I tell you the stories, customs and everyday life that have shaped this country. My aim is that you experience Switzerland as if you were visiting a friend: relaxed, personal and full of authentic insights that you won’t find in standard group tours.

I have had the privilege of working on every continent. This has allowed me to meet many people and learn about many cultures. I enjoyed the hospitality of business partners who showed me their countries. I also showed them my country, Switzerland, and pointed out the differences and special features. Through the eyes of my travel companions, I really got to know and appreciate my country. Against this backdrop, the idea arose to offer something unique. A journey that allows our guests to take a look behind the scenes and see Switzerland far away from the beaten track and mass tourism. I am particularly looking forward to meeting new people and exchanging ideas with them.
